The fight for gay rights in the United States has come a long way since the Stonewall Uprising of 1969, yet there are still issues that need to be addressed. Violence against queer individuals, especillay trans women of color, is prevelent to this day, so its crucial to establish safe-spaces within the community. Trexx NightClub is one of Syracuse’s few queer clubs known for its drag scene, colorful atmosphere, and welcoming environment. Trexx is a place where queer people can express themselves and have fun while enjoying the variety of entertainment options surrounding them.
