A virgin for sale. A sick couple walks with their torchs thinking they will be cured. A girl who is going to get married .... A kid embracing a cup. A sparker is thrown up in the air.

They sacked him out of the place he occupied for 2,000 years. Those who had to keep and guarantee his place did not know how to do it and moved him away people. The only ones giving God his existence. These have keept it for themselves, but in different ways.
Current society, as tar, covers whatever is not useful and cannot follow its rhythm. Current society transforms and adapts anything to its own needs.
In the Western world, a person (a religious being by definition) has no longer points of reference. Old ways do not work any more, now the human being venerates football players, artists. They organize parties apart from gods and reach the ecstasy because of a goal, a shout, a body... Symbols have changed, identities are now set by T-Shirts of one colour or another, with a logo and a photo. Even if rites and beliefs are essentially the same, make sense to our life.

Lo echaron del lugar que ocupó durante 2000 años, los que tenían que guardar y garantizar su sitio no lo supieron hacer y lo alejaron de las personas, las únicas que le dan la existencia, estas se lo han quedado para si, pero en otras formas.
La sociedad actual, como el alquitrán, tapa lo que no le convence, lo que ya no le es útil para seguir su ritmo, transforma y adapta todo a sus necesidades.
En occidente, el hombre, ser religioso por definición, se ha quedado sin referentes, las antiguas formulas ya no le funcionan, venera futbolistas, cantantes, monta fiestas desvinculadas de las divinidades, entra en éxtasis por un gol, un grito, un cuerpo... Los símbolos han cambiado, las identidades las marcan las camisetas de un color u otro, con un logo, una foto. Aunque los ritos y creencias, en esencia, son los mismos, seguir un modelo, tener fe, reunirse en comunidad, festejar, en definitiva dar sentido a nuestra vida.
