Presenting the documentary Autumn Flowers at the Cervantes Institute in Munich.
The reality of older LGTBI people continues to be ignored. As far as I know, there are no care homes where they can feel safe, nor are there training programs for elder care professionals that include these topics. In 2019, a social worker told me that in some care homes in Catalonia, married male couples are separated so that their cohabitation does not "disturb" the other residents.
During these Pride days, it is worth remembering this part of the community.
