Landback - Siekopai survival
Summary
The Siekopai Nation, the multicolored people, reclaim their ancestral territory from which they were displaced.
They want to return to PËËKË'YA (Lagartococha), the land of their origin, to which they need to return to continue being Siekopais.
The Ecuador's constitution recognizes the ancestral territory as a collective right of indigenous communities, pleoples and nationatilies for constituting a space for the preservation of culture. The Provincial Court of Sucumbíos has the duty to guarantee the survival of the Siekopai Nation.
