On February 24, 2022, Russia openly invaded Ukraine. Russian president openly claims that Ukrainians have no right to exist as a nation, and Ukraine should be demolished as an independent state.
Now, the decisive moment in this fight began.

Already, Russia has failed to gain its ultimate goals. Kyiv, Kharkiv, Odesa, Chernihiv, and other main Ukrainian cities are under Ukrainian control. However, the consequences are horrible for my country. Already, more than 10 million Ukrainians were forced to leave their homes.  Infrastructure damage is enormous. Russia bombing hospitals, schools, and residential buildings.

Ukraine is fighting for its independence.
As a photographer, I try to capture this great and horrible moment in the history of my country.
