I love grey.  Blackest black and whitest white are the parents of greys without end. Yet grey need not be achromatic as the complements of the color wheel yield their idiosyncratic optical range. With tonality as the vehicle of my emotional life, I could spend my life traversing the realms of grey and if I were to drown in a grisaille sea, I would die happy.
