DUJE,
Duje is in the city of Doboj at Sarajevo. This place is a rehabilitation center where today still living of victims of war and who are suffering psychological damage and disabled, they are rehabilitated.
The Bosnian war is among the bloodiest atrocities of recent history. The war that started in 1992 and lasted for three years is not just a ruined city, at the same time there was a lot of pain. At the rehabilitation center established with support from many parts of the world, currently, 400 patients are being treated.
The war in the Balkans, which broke out with Yugoslavia's disintegration and plans to redraw the borders, was ended by leaving terrible pains. This pain in Bosnia and Herzegovina caused the whole world to turn its eyes here. Aliya Izetbegovic's words, "As a Muslim nation, we want to be an example to Europe with our independence" was a turning point.
It is still possible to see the traces of the war that took place between 1992 and 1995 today while walking in the streets of the country. Though 20 years have passed since the great pain, not only the streets and buildings but also the traces of destruction are seen in all people.
