Moldova: An Iconography of the Land and Its People
This project is the documentation of Moldova’s national identity reflected in culture, folklore, and daily life. In the face of globalization, technological revolution and the massive exodus of Moldovan people, the thesaurus of Moldovans' national inheritance and their very identity is at risk to be irreversibly lost and forgotten. This project aims at documenting Moldova’s way of life to collect a visual reference of the nation's unique cultural heritage.
