Nello stretto di Bering a cavallo tra Asia e America, Russia e Stati Uniti, estremo est ed estremo ovest. Un viaggio per mare su rotte poco battute tra balene, trichechi, aquile, foche e volpi artiche. Dove la lingua è quella antica parlata dagli uomini del ghiaccio e la terra è modellata dai vulcani della cintura del Pacifico.
