"Patin Jangueo" is a once a month event where roller skates and bikes unites to roll the streets of the metropolitan area here in Puerto Rico. Is is an initiative started by an Olympic Speed Skater who also plays Roller Derby, Melissa Sepulveda, and her coach Michelle Crespo. Their goal is to get as many as 500 skaters to share this event and represent a sport that is as important as any other. A way to exercise and meet new friends along the way. To show light through the activities and the noise that skates are super ON and everyone should be doing it. It is a perfect combination of taking care of oneself physically and emotionally. Time to make new connections and leave in awe all the people we see along the way. This group is for all ages, my girl is 12 and it was her first one, she felt like quitting a couple of times (it was almost 3 hours) but she was determined to finish and enjoy it to the fullest. They are good role models and I am happy she found them! Rollersskateshop in Hato Rey
