Photojournalism stands as a critical tool for conveying truth. My objective is to capture unfolding events and historical moments, crafting visual narratives that adhere to the highest journalistic standards and ethics.

My focus extends beyond mere aesthetic appeal; it centers on "freezing moments in time" to illuminate their surrounding circumstances. This involves a profound emphasis on upholding moral authority and responsibility in determining what to photograph, meticulously considering the impact of each image and how it enhances the narrative for the audience.

While maintaining photojournalism standard presenting visual information responsibly, ensuring that the context in which it is presented is accurate and avoids misinterpretation. My practice is fundamentally guided by this principle, aiming to produce images that are not only authentically captured but also truthful and enlightening in their delivery.

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania – Supporters of an opposition party gather in Mwananyamala, Dar es Salaam, in February 2018 to listen to a Member of Parliament (MP) candidate during a re-election campaign. The rally, held in the context of the Kinondoni by-election, was part of a planned march towards the offices of the National Electoral Commission (NEC). As the demonstrators proceeded, police reportedly intervened, firing stun grenades, tear gas canisters, and rubber bullets to disperse the crowd. The chaotic confrontation tragically resulted in the death of Akwilina Akwilina, a student at the National Institute of Transport (NIT), who was reportedly hit by a stray bullet while traveling in a public transport bus in the vicinity of the demonstration. Her death sparked widespread outrage and calls for investigations into police conduct.

DAR ES SALAAM, Tanzania – Opposition presidential candidate Edward Lowassa greets a cheering crowd of supporters during a campaign rally in Dar es Salaam ahead of the October 2015 general election. Lowassa, a former Prime Minister under the ruling Chama Cha Mapinduzi (CCM) party, resigned from his post and the CCM in July 2015 after being implicated in a corruption scandal, though he denied the allegations. He subsequently joined the main opposition coalition, Chadema-led Ukawa (Coalition of the Defenders of the People's Constitution), as their presidential flagbearer, challenging the CCM's long-standing dominance. His defection and subsequent candidacy injected significant energy and uncertainty into the political landscape, drawing large crowds across the country.

JOHANNESBURG: September 5, 2016...ons for their dissatisfaction.

JOHANNESBURG: September 5, 2016, supporters of then-President Jacob Zuma, including members of the (ANCYL) African National Congress Youth League and the (MK) Umkhonto we Sizwe Military Veterans Association, formed a human barricade outside Luthuli House, the ANC's headquarters. Many of the protesters were dressed in military-style camouflage and vowed to protect the building from what they called "sellouts." They were defending the president against a group of anti-Zuma protesters who accused him of being responsible for the ANC's worst electoral performance since the end of apartheid. The August municipal elections saw the party lose control of key metropolitan areas. The anti-Zuma faction cited widespread corruption scandals and a faltering economy as the reasons for their dissatisfaction.
