Tira’s Growing Up Girl series featured on Musee Magazine’s Photo Journal Monday. Musee’s Instagram post: Tira Khan shared with us her beautiful and intimate photos for #photojournal Monday. Photojournalism can often become so enthralled with the breaking and the dire that we forget what lessons can be found in capturing slower, mundane, and for her daughters, what can feel like the most important time of our lives. “As the girls aged, I realized that these small moments added up to something much larger— the development of character, personality. I hope these photographs reveal growth, as the girls' transition to a life beyond home and family.”
