The announcement of the National Security Council has surprised everyone, the Kayak will be able to resume from May 4th, 2020. The Prime Minister, Sophie Wilmes announced it at the last press conference at a time when the measures proposed for the deconfinement plan in Belgium sometimes seem difficult to follow.
A small club, not far from Liege, the Mava Club is taking advantage of this announcement to relaunch its activity. The weather is propitious and the members are back on the banks of the Ourthe.
The members are present and do everything possible to ensure that the activities take place in compliance with the sanitary measures imposed.
Kayak is however a sport where distances are imposed by the practice of sport. Once in the water, it is impossible to be too close to the other members. In any case, the club adapts while impatiently waiting for the complete deconfinement.
