Mallam Ahmed Aliyu is the Sarki (Chief) of Wuciciri community. As part of his commitment to improving the access that girls in his community have to education, Mallam Aliyu offered his house to be used as a safe space for the out of school girls.

Girls' Education: A prerequisite to fight climate change

The Center for Girls Education is one of the few local NGOs that are striving to make sure the girl child has access to education in rural and urban areas. Situated in Zaria, Kaduna, the Center has various safe spaces for girls of different ages. Girls who attend the safe space acquire various skills which include but not limited to basic literacy and numeracy skills and life skills.
