Nearly 9000 people lost their lives when the earthquake struck Nepal 25th of April 2015. 17,000 were injured including children. 600, 000 homes were destroyed. It was the most powerful disaster registered since 1934 in Nepal.   UN predicted that 8 million people have been affected by earthquake. The earthquake was measured at 7,8 at Richters Scale.
