ILLIMANI:
Told by the eye: A tale may be told by the mouth, or by the hand, or by the eye. In Bolivia a man went about silently with his eyes on his hands, wishing to make walking stories stand still. When he had done so he collected them together so that, one by one, they all started talking, and told a tale to be heard by the eye.

Narracion de una mirada: Un cuento se puede narrar con la voz, con las manos, o con la mirada. Un hombre anduvo en Bolivia con la mirada en las manos, silencioso, intentando detener las historias que caminan. Y una vez detenidas, las ha reunido, porque juntas se protegen y se ponen a hablar, a contarse un cuento que se oye con la mirada.
ILLIMANI:
Begi batek kontatua: Ipuina konta daiteke ahoz, konta daiteke eskuz, edo konta daiteke begiz. Bolivian gizon bat ibili zen, begiak eskutan, isil-isilik, oinez doazen istorioak gelditu nahian. Eta behin gelditutakoan, elkartu egin ditu, elkarren anparoan hizketan hasten direlako begiz entzuten den ipuin bat kontatzen.
