The fear of Covid-19 cleared public spaces worldwide within a few weeks. The pictures of this story document the growing global calamity of different places in Switzerland, during the Coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2) pandemic from Mid March till End of April 2020. The pictures document of what public life looks like during this 2020 Coronavirus outbreak.
Extended restrictions on freedom of movement requires more and more self-discipline, consciousness and diligence in the mode of interaction between individuals. Government-mandated social distance became a must in Switzerland and so many cultures worldwide. Agitated crowds completely disappear from public eye. Staying apart became the new measure of all things. Empty shop windows, individuals here and there. Beauty deprived from human interaction.
