Metropolitan movie theater on February 18, 2023. Currently in Playa municipality, this cinema was built in 1945. Francisco Piñeiro was its owner. The movie theater had enough room for 1300 viewers. At the end of 1990s, it stopped being a cinema.
Principal movie theater on April 1, 2023, in Marianao municipality. This picture theater was built in 1927, at the same place that the first -Pricipal Theater- occupied in Marianao before being destroyed by fire. In the beginning, the new movie theater was named -Berndes- due to Rene Berndes, its original owner. The movie theater had enough room for 1100 viewers. Early this century, it stopped being a picture theater. Currently, the building of this movie theater is closed
Alba movie theater on March 27, 2024, in Playa municipality (before 1976,  Marianao municipality). La Ceiba Investor Comapany was its owner.The movie theater had enough room for 900 viewers. Nowadays, it is home of a local social-cultural project, and it stopped being a movie theater.
Lido movie theater on April 1, 2023, in Marianao. It was built in 1958, and it was the last big picture theater that was built in this Havana's locality. The theater had enough room for 1118 viewers. It stopped being a movie theater.
Record movie theater on April, 2023, in Marianao municipality. This picture theater was erected between 1947 and 1948. It had enough room for 1510 viewers. During the first decade of this century, it stopped being a movie theater.
Doorway of the Ambassador movie theater on February 16, 2023. Located in Playa municipality nowadays, it was built in 1945. Some documents give Clara Aspuru San Pedro and Estela Aspuru Placencia as owner of this picture theater. However, other documents give OPERADORA MOFE of Mauricio Almagro as owner of it. It stopped being a movie theater early this century. Nowadays, the building is in ruins.
Gran Teatro de Marianao (Gran Cine since 1974) on February 14, 2023. Located in Marianao, this movie theater was built in 1946. House Project S.A. was its owner. It had enough room for 1250 persons. During the first years of this century, it stopped being a movie theater. Currently, a small TRD shop occupies the ancient lobby of the building of this ancient movie theater.
Club de Alistados movie theater inside Ciudad Libertad Escolar (Ciudad Militar Columbia before 1959) on March 28, 2023, in Marianao. This movie theater had enough room for 400 persons. After arriving the socialist revolution, it  became -Manuel Ascunse Domenech- theater, and nevermore it was a movie theater. Currently, the building is in ruins.
B'Lisa movie theater on March 28, 2023. It is located in La Lisa municipality, but it was located in Marianao before the locality was divide in three municipalities. This picture theater was erected between 1950 and 1951. Alberto Fernandez Bravo was its owner. The place had enough room for 1656 persons. According to some data, this movie theater was one of the largest in Marianao and the ninth in Havana. Some years ago, it became video room, but later, it stopped. Currently, the building is closed.
Avenida movie theater on March 11, 2023. Nowadays, it's located in Playa municipality, but before 1976, it was in Marianao. This movie theater was built in 1946. Angelina Armand was its owner.It had enough room for 1000 viewers. Early this century, it stopped being a movie theater. Currently, it is a small concert room.
Construction of a new building in the area that Candido movie theater occupied years ago in Marianao Municipality, February 13, 2023. Candido movie theater was erected in the 1920s, and its design was modified in the 1940s. This cinema was known because it was the only one in Marianao with entrances below the projection screen. Candido González Nodarse was its owner. This picture theater had enough room for 800 viewers. In the 1980s, It stopped being a movie theater, after that, its building became a warehouse and later, it disappeared Havana Cuba
