A Texel ewe and her two recently born lambs lie in a stall in the barn of Dutch sheep farm, Schapenboerderij Westerweg, on the Dutch island of Texel. They are of the Texel meat breed, which originates from this isle in the Wadden Sea. Ewes and their lambs stay inside in groups until the young are strong enough to join their mother outside in the meadows.
