A ewe (on the left) has just given birth to a second lamb on Schapenboerderij Westerweg, a sheep farm on the Dutch island of Texel in the Wadden Sea, while the first one tries to stand. The animals are of the Texel meat breed, which originates from the isle. On the right tourists look on. Ewes and their lambs stay inside in groups until the young are strong enough to join their mother outside in the meadows.
