Public Project
Wirinoko
(IN PROGRESS)
The Orinoco Delta, located in northeastern Venezuela, is an ecological treasure that is home to one of the most important wetlands in South America. Its rich biodiversity has remained largely intact thanks to its isolation and unique environmental conditions. However, the Warao indigenous people and the aquatic ecosystems that depend on this region face serious threats, highlighting the importance of implementing conservation measures.
Wirinoko is the beginning of a long-term project that addresses in a profound and committed manner the health concerns related to water pollution from environmental exploitation. Its approach highlights the interconnection between human subsistence and the severe ecological crisis we face, reminding us of the urgency of acting responsibly and conscientiously in the preservation of our environment.
