Eternal Paths
the first thing that caught my attention when arriving at Los Nevados was the feeling of isolation.
How is the lifestyle of these people when the distances between one point and another are infinite?
To my surprise, even though the solitude and the minimal social interaction seemed a constant,
the (few) inhabitants of Los Nevados know each other perfectly.
During the eternal distances that defined the visits, the muleteer in turn was describing the details,
even the most intimate, of the lives of the "neighbors."
So is that isolation real or is it just a preconceived idea? Do they really feel isolated or is it just my appreciation?
