Jojutla´s rice
The earthquake of September 19, 2017 in Mexico was devastating. The same day 32 years ago of another earthquake that caused damage to the City. In Jojutla, Morelos state, due to the proximity of the epicenter of the earthquake, the damage to buildings was severe. The Jojutla rice packing plant lost one of its main warehouses when it collapsed. The packing plant had to stop due to structural damage to the building where it is located. Jesús Solís, a dedicated rice farmer, had to work with his workers to try to rescue the product and at the same time protect machinery.
