After a long stay in several Canadian First Nation communities in the Northwest Territories, I decided to cross the vast expanse of Canada to an Inuit community of 1,396 people on the eastern part of the Canadian territory of Nunavut.
Baffin Island, the homeland of the Inuit people is the largest island in Canada and the fifth largest island in the world. These photos were taken in Kinngait, a hamlet formerly known as Cape Dorset.
