A personal project, stars year ago. Born from different assignments in different years to the commune "Victoria de Dios" also known as "La 13" located in the mangrove area in the north of Esmeraldas, Ecuador. This commune was born as a result of invasions in these territories more than 40 years ago. And during that time, the lack of job opportunities and neglect on the part of the State, the community has become involved in poverty and precariousness.

They have been the ones who for a long time have sheltered in these settlements looking for survival strategies based on their wisdom, their own culture, knowledge and ancestral traditions such as winter fishing, fresh water collection and the organization of their members, in the face of the violence and crime to which they are subjected. exposed.

Now Victoria de Dios claims its history, the possibility of speaking from itself, all of which builds the deep sense of resistance and resilience where life continues at the water's edge, building community to change the world, embodying the old but always present popular utopia. of equality and unity.
