Summary
I’m honored to be recognized as a 2025 NYSCA/NYFA Artist Fellowship Finalist in Photography. Selected from over 3,672 applicants statewide, in five disciplines. I’m one of just 3 artists to receive this unrestricted cash grant in photography.
Since 2001, my long-term series Simple Moments of an Emerging Presence has documented the lives, traditions, and everyday experiences of Mexican immigrants and Mexican-Americans in New York.
Thank you to the New York Foundation for the Arts (NYFA) and the New York State Council on the Arts (NYSCA) for this honor and support of artists across New York State.
