I’m thrilled to share that one of my color photographs from Simple Moments of an Emerging Presence—my ongoing series documenting the vibrant Mexican community in Staten Island—has been selected for the Annual 2025 National Competition Exhibition at Soho Photo Gallery!

This marks my second consecutive year being chosen for this national juried exhibition.

The Mexican community in Staten Island, New York, is a vital part of the borough’s cultural fabric. After decades of immigration, it continues to enrich the city with deep-rooted traditions and vibrant celebrations—many of which I have been honored to capture through my lens.
