La jeunesse emmerde le Front National
Bretagne, Juin 2024
The Youth Against the National Front
Brittany, June 2024
In the wake of the results of the European elections on June 9th, the Front de la Jeunesse en Lutte (Youth Front in Struggle, FJL) was formed with the goal of mobilizing young people in the face of the rise of the far-right and organizing resistance in preparation for the upcoming early legislative elections. With the increasing support for the Rassemblement National (National Rally) and the risk of an extreme-right government, the youth of Nantes are rallying to convince and fight against the ideas of the nationalist party. Across France, demonstrations are taking place to denounce the rise of the far-right and defend a more socially conscious vision of French society. The youth, deeply engaged in these movements, are mobilizing in large numbers, and the creation of the NFP (National Front Protesters) raises hope for a positive outcome to these demands.
